You've been dreaming about your fairy tale wedding since you were five years old. Now the big day has come. We share your joy and excitement. We capture it in fine wedding photography that offers artistry at reasonable prices.

Wedding Photography: What You Need to Know

It's important that you not only like a photographer's style, but that you like the photographer herself, and that you feel comfortable with us. That's why we don't just book wedding photography over the telephone or through the internet. We'd like you to come down to the studio and meet with us in person. Not only will you get to see the depth and breadth of our photography, which may inspire you to try some new ideas, but we'll also get a good idea if we're the right fit.

Our Wedding Photography Services

We offer a variety of wedding photography packages that allow you to select a set of defined services or create your own unique package. Our wedding packages include 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and unlimited hours of coverage, including reception, depending on the package you choose. Most packages include proof albums and some packages include a DVD with all images you can print from. Our prices include weddings in Virginia within a two hour drive from the studio. Weddings in other parts of Virginia more than two hours away from the studio are fine, but we do charge a flat $150 travel fee. We're also happy to travel out of state or to destination weddings for an additional fee.

Booking Your Wedding & Payment

After your personal consultation, a signed contract and a $100 non refundable deposit is required. We book weddings months in advance of the wedding date, so please contact us early to ensure we're available on your day. We accept personal checks and all major credit cards for payment. Images remain the property of the studio and are copyrighted by the studio unless other arrangements are made.

On Your Wedding Day

On your wedding day, we arrive one and a half hours early to take all those fun snapshots of bride getting ready as well as the brides' family and the bridal party. We also photograph the groom and his party and family too.

During the ceremony, no flash photography is used. This is your special time.

After the ceremony, we photograph the rest of the day's festivities. We like to capture spontaneous moments during the reception in addition to traditional posed shots.

We have many packages to choose from, but if you don't see what you're looking for, we offer custom packages like an a la carte menu that lets you select just what you need. Make your very own, custom-tailored package choosing the elements you'd like from the packages , or talk to us about your needs.

Please Note

All images are property of this studio and are copyrighted. Some of our packages include the copyright release to the images and provide you with a DVD of all your wedding images that you may print. In addition, if you choose a package that does not include the copyright release, you may purchase that for an additional charge.
