Crystal Image Photography creates a variety of maternity portraits for women and couples. Maternity Photography is increasing becoming popular and the style of portraits we create depends totally on what each women or couple is looking to capture.

Q: What should I wear for my maternity photo session?

A: Some women prefer a artistic, nude or semi-nude portrait of their pregnancy, while others wish to be fully or partially clothed. We can also do a mixture.

Either way, your portraits will be showing your belly so it is best to bring a button down shirt (we like black) a sheer white gown or robe and/or white t-shirt. If you are wanting to do portraits as a couple we suggest the man also bring a white t-shirt as well as a black t-shirt.

Q: When is the best time to have my maternity photos taken?

A: The further along, the better. Typically 2 to 4 weeks before your due date is the best.
